These are extraordinary times and it’s quite possible that you will need the Union’s support in the next couple of weeks. The GMB National website has a page specifically on the coronavirus which is being updated daily.
Warren Kenny, our Regional Secretary has just sent out an all members letter, detailing the Union’s response to the Coronavirus Public Health crises. In it he says, amongst other things,
I just want you to know that your union is here for you, and we will do whatever we can with everything that we have to fight for you. If you need any support rather than calling our offices at this busy time, please get in touch with us through our online Support Centre which is being continuously managed and wherever possible make sure you include your GMB membership number on all communications with us.
